He was one of the first pay to play guys I know of. He is the same age as my middle son and his parents sent him all over the US to play for various teams when he was 12-16. They had a price for his expenses, wink wink. But he was the real deal even back then. He played SS and pitched. He played SS in the grass and had a cannon for an arm. Plus at 14 he hit bombs out of the a college field with all these other 14's watching in awe. Along with most of the college guys.

Mets on a 3 game winning streak and Rangers lead down to 3 over Astros in A.L. West. Trout on D.L. for next 8 weeks for Angels and Kershaw and Judge skipping All-star game. Last!y Guardians win in extras to stop Braves winning streak !!!!!!
