Like 22 of their 52 wins have come against the A’s, Royals, Rockies, White Sox and Tigers.
This is a discussion I'm not going to debate because in reality we can break down every teams win vs sub .500 and vs above .500. So in retrospect they should not be considered a contender because of who they have beat. I was told no less than a week ago quote"they can't help who they play". Every division leader has beaten up on the bottom feeders except maybe the Guardians!!!!!!

I never said they weren’t a contender, just their stats may be inflated due to 1st half competition.

That’s what I like to call this 1st half for the Mets...a rough streak.😜
If you want to learn how not to run an organization, look no further than the Mets, Knicks, and Jets. One of the biggest markets in the world and all those organizations have been poorly run for the vast majority of my life. Their counterparts that share the same market in their respective sports take advantage of this and it’s gone from laughable to kind of sad. People actually feel sorry for those teams because they know they will never win.

Every team in the AL East is at least 5 games over 500, including the Rays and Orioles, who are the 2nd and third best team records in MLB.
If the Blue Jays didn’t suck so bad against their division they would be like a game out of first place. I’m going to be keeping my eye on them as a dark horse to hunt down the Rays because usually those records start to even out.

Two of the 3 have little brother syndrome Mets will always be second fiddle to Yankees,as well the Jets to the Giants. Now the Knicks who knows but James Dolan ran them into the ground as the owner,I believe he sold them a few years ago!

Mario Soto despised him when he played for Reds that was back when there were two divisions in Each League. How many Braves fans remember being in N.L. West??????

Thank God no one threw a mustard bottle, the horror!
People should see how fans act during fútbol matches in other countries. I remember reading about Brazilians rushing the pitch and dismembering a referee and put his head on a stake like medieval times. There are some sick people in this world.

The Braves won the inaugural NL West and ran off a 3-peat on the way out before joining the NL East. Fun fact: the Reds have more NL West titles than the Diamondbacks and Padres. The Braves have just as many NL West titles as those two teams also.

Your memory is working quiet well for a Wed. :) You still taking viagra pills to help w/that?
