I suspect the family had good intentions at the beginning as they felt Mr. Oher was too dumb to handle his own business interests. It is telling that Michael only realized relatively recently that he was not adopted. Perhaps they realized any adoption proceedings would not be completed until Michael reached his majority so the "conservatorship" was the fastest thing they could do.

There is ZERO doubt he was steered to Mississippi as it may have been his only choice academics wise, contrary to the script, "Ole Miss" was - and is, the worst academic program recruiting him.- maybe excepting LSU. Any Ole Miss alumnus or fan who thinks that school is "prestigious" is delusional. It's a dumping ground for suburban boys and girls who place value over Greek life than academics.

Yeah, I’m not so sure this guy is very smart.
All the talent in the world but not a lot going on between the ears.
I’ve heard numerous interviews where Kevin Cash and several veterans of the team, basically say he has the world at his fingertips, just a matter of maturing and taking advantage of it.

Honestly, that’s pretty disgusting if true and I shouldn’t be making jokes about it.
I have a 14 yr old daughter.
First I’d rearrange Wander’s jaw with his favorite Louisville slugger and then I’d deal with her.
Man I hope this isn’t true, that’s one of my boys favorite young players.
It’s not looking good though, judging from the pics she’s dropping on social media.
