I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Snitker is holding this franchise back. We should have at least 2 titles over the past few years. This was a 115-win caliber team with that offensive firepower but barely scratched 100. I wish Bobby was still healthy enough to manage.

Austin Riley has bat 2nd only once this season. Matt Olson has bat 3rd only 3 times. Michael Harris has bat 6th only 6 times. Sean Murphy has bat 8th only 3 times. Snitker is just being a dumbass.

The teams playing in the wildcard round seem to have a bit of an advantage by staying on a more normal routine of playing. The teams that get byes go almost an entire week without playing a game. This was proven true last season with the Padres and Phillies beating the Dodgers and Braves respectively. They need to look at starting the divisional rounds the day after the wildcard round ends or two days after at the very least.

I’d like to see what Leo could do with Fried, Strider and these young arms, coming up through the farm system.

It’s almost like the 90s 2.0. Fried is Glavine. Strider is Smoltz. Nobody really compares to Maddux though.

They haven’t experienced a full rocking Neyland. They came during the Covid year whenever capacity was limited. Win or lose, they will be shell shocked next weekend. I prefer Alabama to lose because they are a hated rival but I think we can beat both of them.
