Not being a smart-ass here but, I'm not quite so sure why each year that rolls around you get so obsessed w/this Detroit Lions is "America's Team" BS? Everyone in Detroit's world believes that I'm sure. But not the whole football nation that lives in America. What's in this for you? Are you trying to gloat about something that hasn't even happened at all? Detroit hasn't won a SB game not once. You have one pretty chick on video casting her little vote .... whoopie/hooray. Just asking for some clarity. Are we gonna hear this all NFL season long from you again?

Thank you for mentioning this because that's what I was referring to when I mentioned 680 The Fan giving the Vols a shout out.

When I tuned into The Fan, initially there is always a commercial and then they connect to the action broadcast and the announcer was mid-sentence when he mentioned the cleats.

So.... from MY perspective, I was confused because I was trying to listen to "Braves Radio", but it started with a Vols reference. It had me wondering if I clicked on some Vols app or site and kind of blew my mind and had me second guessing what I had connected to.

My former boss is a Michigan everything fan. He was born and raised right outside of Detroit. He has lived in Tennessee for several years now and cheers on the Vols as long as they aren’t playing Michigan. He is pretty old school though and really respects the tradition of other teams. I was genuinely happy for him whenever Michigan beat Alabama and went on to win the National Championship. Don’t care for Michigan personally, but happy for him because he is a good dude.

Neither one of them should be considered America’s team imo. You have to at least win a championship this century to be considered. Chiefs should be America’s Team due to their QB and run of success. You could argue they would have another Super Bowl under their belt if their DL wasn’t offside vs Tom Brady. Mahomes already has 3 Super Bowl MVPs and 2 regular season MVPs in only 6 seasons as a starting QB. He could retire right now and be a unanimous HOF.
