I think he re-signs with the Yankees. Seems to be a good fit there.

Yankees also only have three more years of Stanton’s contract and then there is a club option for 2028. 2026 and 2027 his salary drops from $32M/yr to $19M and $15M those years. Would only be $15M in 2028 also if they pick up the club option. So the Yankees feel like the more logical landing spot compared to the Mets, who have spent all kinds of worthless money.
