A rookie manager should at least be given a chance. I’ve just seen Snitker’s teams be World Series contenders on an annual basis for several years now and the reason he got us a championship was due to the GM wheeling and dealing at the trade deadline.

2019: lost 2-3 to an inferior Cardinals team
2020: blew a 3-1 lead in the NLCS
2021: won the World Series with a lot of trades
2022: lost 1-3 to an inferior Phillies team
2023: copy and paste 2022…

He actually got us there multiple times. Wasn’t his fault he had to go up against the Yankees in 2 of those seasons. Nobody was beating those Blue Jays. They went back to back. The Indians had a damn squad so he deserved kudos for that. The only World Series I blame is the Twins series. He blew that one.

Pretty sure that’s only the second time we have swept a team on the road. Astros was the other but as @chuckiepoo stated, they were hot trash (pun intended) early in the season. And we’ve gotten the opportunity to play teams like the White Sox, Rockies, Nationals, Marlins, and Angels. The embarrassing thing is we actually lost to the White Sox. That should be grounds for automatic termination.

Yet Snit didn't have a single at bat, didn't field a single ball, didn't have a single error, nor did he pitch a single pitch.
A team wins, the "TEAM" is great. A team loses, the coach has to go.
