I know this might be a bit off topic in today's sports world but at todays baseball it warmed my heart to see sportsmanship. While Samford challenged the safe call at 2B on the Abernathy steal, he and Samford infielders spent the entire time just chatting it up. Then both teams lined up and shook hands after the game. Just a good day of baseball.

Our fans also gave their 2nd baseman a nice round of applause after he made a great defensive play to end an inning. Was really classy and spoke to what kind of fans we have, at least for the most part.

Yeah I think Florida series was the optimistic target but there’s always a chance we might not see him until Ole Miss.
