He was calling for a timeout as soon as the ball was advanced across half court. He said he usually tells the ref ahead of time so he gets the call immediately but didn’t give them a heads up this time for whatever reason.

The announcers at a HS regional playoff game were lamenting the drop off of student support since COVID. The stands had always been packed, I mean total SRO. The bleachers behind the baskets were sparse tonight.
