In many ways UK plays the game differently. They apply pressure and they do it in a number of ways. To your point, CTV and Co. know they are gonna steal, bunt and do everything they can to manufacture runs. Their pitching was pretty good too, Saturday/Sunday starters threw 100+ pitches and we got a bunch of young guys.

On our end…the fielding problems have been an issue this year. I don’t have the answer. Seems like we’ve tried every possible combination. My thinking is, rather than we’re gonna out hit e’rbody, minimize the mistakes, even if it hurts ya at the plate. I don’t get paid the big bucks and I certainly do not know what they know. We’re okay. That much I know.

Just finished watching a series that could be the Fall Classic Preview. Texas vs Dodgers.

3 game series and the scores were 3-1 Dodgers, 4-3 Rangers and today 1-0 Dodgers.

Great pitching by both teams all weekend.

We are their CWS Championship every season. We just look at them like another team. Very similar to Vanderbilt/Kentucky in football.

Another reason to dislike Snitker. He has his favorites and Acuña does deserve criticism for his lackadaisical play sometimes but he is 100% right on this. If that were him he would have crucified.

My Dell computer has locked up on me. I’m posting from my phone. My computer is 10 years old this month and I guess it finally died on me. If I can’t get it unlocked I’ll have to go out tomorrow and get a new computer. I do like a Dell computer.
