They knocked it out of the park.

Spreads in. Elite Eight games

Duke by -6.5 over Alabama
Auburn favored by -5.5 over Michigan State
Florida -6.5 over Texas Tech
Houston by -3.5 over Tennessee..

I know spreads don't mean **** but this is how the gambling sites are predicting it.

May just drop a few bucks on a couple of games...

And they had multiple opportunities during the off season. Multiple.
They also could have re-signed Max Fried or made a deal for a top end of the rotation pitcher to help alleviate the poor bullpen but chose not to do so. Unfortunately I see them having a down year and forced to eventually trade away one of their core players to get an impact pitcher. They blew their championship window over the past 5 years. Could have easily been to 3 World Series during this stretch.

Someone mentioned struggling to explain the concept of “overhead curvy number “ to his wife. Perhaps this illustration will be helpful.

Or just take your L and move on. And laugh at this image as hard as I did when a lady friend of mine texted it to me.

I saw that drawing the other day. Very creative.

To further educate the noobs:

In baseball, “putting up a crooked number” means scoring two or more runs in an inning. The term comes from how numbers appear on the scoreboard—0s are straight, while numbers like 2, 3, 4, etc., are “crooked.” It’s often used to describe a productive offensive inning, as opposed to putting up a “goose egg” (zero runs).

The use of curvy ladies is just an Oldtimer’s Dugout spin. Because they’re curvy numbers.

With the Portal being the new recruiting methods used by College Sports this years EE is living proof of the impact it has more than ever.

Auburn loaded with portal additions over last couple of years
Alabama see Auburn
Florida full of portal additions
Texas Tech see Florida
Houston and Tennessee have somewhat less but are very more experienced with Seniors and Juniors due to Portal. Tennessee does have 4 year commitments ZZ and Mashack.
Michigan State starting five consist of one portal player and 4 recruits who are mostly upperclassmen. The star still is a Freshmen .

Duke seems like they will just do what they always do recruit 3 or 4 five star recruits and depend on portal very little.

Going to be a interesting 4 games .

Candace Parker stated last night don't sleep on Texas Tech, they can beat Florida.
The Alabama vs Duke game will be up and down the court. Cooper Flagg will be best player in the floor.

Auburn vs Michigan State going be fun watching this battle in the interior, both teams are physical on inside.

Tennessee vs Houston, for individuals who like offense this game probably isn't the one to watch. Matchup of top 2 defensive teams in Country.
