Well yeah. Boise is better than USU. Ole Miss is better than UT. Very similar talent difference between the 2 teams.
Not sure I understand
Short of ol miss secondary looking good, there wasn't much to be impressed by. Their offense looks weak despite the late pull away in the score. They are certainly no juggernaut. We should steal that game.
Ole Miss's secondary was often in position to make plays, and they had good closing speed. They are short, but there is nothing to be done about that, and at least one of their CBs made a surprisingly tall leap to intercept a pass that, I think, was a surprise to Boise's QB. If I were Ole Miss's coach, I'd be focusing hard on wrapping up and tackling fundamentals. I saw a bunch of those kids making open field tackles by lowering their shoulders and making a hit without wrapping their arms around the defenders. It worked out last night, but it's an issue that will be a problem eventually.
