Umm, no, friend. We are being objective. One national title does not compare with 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of them.He won 33 games in 3 years at SC. That’ll never happen again.
He turned FL into a powerhouse and owned Fulmer.
He didn’t do it at Alabama, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Michigan, etc.
He did it at freaking FL and SC. Heck even Duke. Y’all’s bias is showing.
Hugh Freeze says high. Plus check out 2015Ole Miss has some of the worst fans. Kiffin is a good coach. He's won at Ole Miss. That ain't easy to do.....
Ole Miss lost key players from last season, but last season Ole Miss won 10 regular season games. That was the first time an Ole Miss team has won 10 games in a season, ever.
What is his signature win?Ole Miss has some of the worst fans. Kiffin is a good coach. He's won at Ole Miss. That ain't easy to do.....

I can't wait for Spurrier to start selling Medicare Advantage plans along side Joe Namath. He won 33 games in 3 years at SC. That’ll never happen again.

You are wrong on this one.Umm, no, friend. We are being objective. One national title does not compare with 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of them.
Credit where credit is due: Spurrier did make the Florida program into something. It was nothing for 100 years, then he turned it into an SEC powerhouse. Not necessarily a national powerhouse, but an SEC one.
But he's nowhere near those fellas I listed as an all-time great.
