If GA loses look out next week we will probably get blown out @ GA and that will be the end of our playoff hopes as 10-2 Tenn vs 10-2 Ole Miss and 10-2 Alabama would get the nod over us by both beating mighty GA
Georgia is the new darlings of the ESPN pundits who said after Tennessee's game tonight that Georgia could be a 5th SEC team in the playoffs with a 9/3 record.

Nope...too many 2 loss teams for a three loss team to make it
Most of those 2 loss teams will be 3 loss teams in the next 4 weeks. By the time championship week is over there will likely only be max 1 undefeated team (Oregon). Indiana, BYU and Army all have their toughest games by far ahead of them. Indiana will have to survive OSU and if they get past that then Oregon. Army has to face ND and Navy and likely Tulane. BYU does not have any obvious ones but the way they have played this season and past seasons says they drop one or two games between now and then. Oregon is also prone to losing to Washington even when they are the better team.

Miami and Georgia losing opened up all the chaos. In fact now there is a possibility of a 3 loss champ coming out of the ACC. Right now if things fall the right way Clemson could lose to South Carolina and still have only one conference loss. The Big 12 could also have possibly have a 3 loss champ.

Right now the L's to certain teams stank things up because of SoS. If/When BYU, Army, Indiana take L's its gonna shake up the rankings even more. IF Indiana beats OSU its gonna be insane. BYU is the only of those 3 with a top 50 SoS the other 2 are in the 100's. Indiana is currently at 100 their remaining schedules is 8th. Armys is 133 and facing 15th. BYU's is currently 54 looking at 43 remaining but whoever they face in the championship will be the second-ranked team they face. There is a reason there were 2-3 loss teams ranked ahead of undefeated teams in the initial rankings. SoS/SoR. Indiana and BYU were barely ahead of 2 loss Bama and it will get tighter this next poll after Bama spanked LSU.

As UT fans we need to be rooting for everyone on our schedule to win out and every team that gave them losses to win out. We need teams like Kentucky, Oklahoma, NC State etc to win some games. Sadly for us that's not likely to happen. All our past opponents have really hard end of season schedules. The good news is we are not likely to be in that 3 loss club to have to worry. In fact...UGA is looking very, very winnable this year for the first time in a LOOOONG time. We will and should be underdogs but I think the line on this game is gonna be lower than 7 points at kickoff if our injury report on Nico and Thornton is good.
