I've never understood the anchor down thing. You put the anchor down when you don't want to go anywhere. Yes, it is appropriate for Vandy. But I am surprised at how enthusiastically they embrace it.

The guy knows what to do, he's seen winning programs. He just doesn't know how to get it done. Here's a west guy that is totally out of place in the south. He isn't comfortable at all. Maybe he'll grow into it, but you can tell the guy is just uncomfortable.

I agree totally. Dumbest thing I've heard in a while. Its the equivalent of using "Flat tires!!" as your war cry.

you guys don't know how enjoyable this is in Nashville right now. It's not just that they are finally back to being Vandy as Franklin is/was underrated by most here, but it's finally quiet. I don't hear anything about them anymore, except on here, and it's awesome.

I may be wrong, but Mason has just seemed out of place every time I've heard him speak. I hope he gives vandy a triple dose of what dooley gave us.
