Ole Miss vs Vandy (merged)

must be boring as hell on campus if those students have nothing better to do.

Gotta take a break from studying at some point. Although shaving with a cheese grater would be more enjoyable than watching that utter suckage.

Mason seems like a nice guy. If Vandy fans weren't so damn smugly delusional, I might actually feel bad for him.

For now though, I'm happy watching him return Vandy to the status quot.

I know you have to talk confidently but he came and basically discounted what CJF had done and said 9 wins is ok but we want better. I'm not sure what I expected him to say but it came off extremely arrogant and his refusal to call us Tennessee instead referring to us as the team to the East is childish. CBJ's use of the "Red-Team" when referring to Bama last year was his way of trying to keep our guys from getting wide-eyed and defeated before they ever stepped on the grass by saying they're simply another team. Not acknowledging the given name of a university because it's a rival is pathetic IMO.

doesn't anchor down really mean not moving at all and quite possibly sinking if something goes bad?

It definitely prevents you from moving, but if things went bad, you would actually prefer to have the anchor down rather than onboard. It would at least very slightly improve your bouyancy. Vandy's fans are probably screaming for the lifeboats to jump off this sinking ship.

I'm pretty sure that Vandy tied the anchor around their head coach and sent it into the bottom of the river. No one alive could be any worse at calling a game than Derick Mason.
