Me too. Obvious Barnes has been yanking him too quick. Needs to sit Vescovi.
Barnes said post game he was overall pleased but Oliver gave up two easy baskets and O knows if he's not going to play defense he's going to be on the bench. I agree.... his upside is good but he has soooo much work to do. Getting better but a long way to go...

He had two back to back really bad series on both ends. Missed two shots and gave up two buckets.

After that he played much better, and made two buckets on back to back possessions. Gave Fulk a much needed rest.

I could tell he was more aggressive from the get go, but he was forcing shots early on. Still though, he had some really nice plays. If he can find ways to muscle his way to the rim he will do well. We really need a grinder inside to free us up elsewhere

ON subbed for Fulky pretty early, and pretty regularly throughout the game. The first time, about 3 minutes in IIRC, Fulky had motioned to the bench as if requesting to be taken out.

I wonder if Fulky is having issues with his stamina, and maybe they are trying to manage that.

Regardless ON has progressed quite a bit since the season started; seems like he now has the green light to take shots at his discretion. It will be a big help to the team for him to be a solid contributor.

ON has the size and talent to be UTs main post sub and if he was to put a death grip on that role, could easily average 15 minutes a game, imo. Plus, UT would be a better team, if he seizes the opportunity that he has

He's always had the ability, he just needed to believe. For a nonstarter, he is hugely important to this team.

He had a great interview before the game yesterday on the Volnetwork. Was very point blank bank on what he needed to do from a mental preparation standpoint
Yup, I feel like he will be just fine down the road as a Vol...another in the line of guys people were doubting and then Barnes turns into a player.

Nkamhoua is our 3rd post going forward. Just him finally looking at the rim made a difference. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets into double figures at least once the rest of the way. Defended well, and is rebounding slightly better.

Hopefully, February will be a big month for ORN. It would be great to see ORN have one or two big games to provide him some more confidence and solidify his minutes in the rotation.

It is interesting how much love ON is getting for last night's game. I have been a believer of his so I'm glad to see it, but I think he's had a couple of better games than this one. This time he forced his shot a bit too much and was kind of punished on D. Still, I think he's going to be a really solid player

CRB has been pretty clear in interviews that ORN has to rebound and play D to get minutes, any scoring is a bonus right now.

Gotta try to get him better. Even if that means taking some lumps out there w him in the lineup. Too bad EJ hasn’t panned out
Olivier > EJ

I think EJ may be better at Rebounding, but Olivier is a better scorer + more athletic. I think EJ may be the better defender, but it looks like he gets bullied down there sometimes as well.

Neither are looked to enough for it to make much of a difference offensively. Our rebounding lately has not been good. Could certainly use EJ in that area if not for his other shortcomings
