SCs D problem is not the old man it's lack of depth. they've ran out of gas in a bunch of their losses.

rank these possible events in the 2011 college football season.

1. A team outside of the sec wins the national championship game.

2. Texas wins the big xii (or big x. Whatever.)

3. Usc wins 10 games.

4. An sec east team wins the regular season sec championship.

5. Ohio state wins the big 10 (or big 12. Once again, whatever.)

This is entire list/scale is tricky, because none of these things are very likely to occur, IMO.

1. USC winning 10 is possible.
2. Texas only has to beat Oklahoma, so I guess that is possible.
3. UGA could get hot and work over a VERY weak SEC schedule, so an SEC east team could do it.
4. Ohio State has virtually no chance of winning the league with Nebraska, Wisconsin, and PSU loaded up.
5. LSU and Alabama should be the two best teams in the country, and don't count out Arkansas. Until another conference wins a national title, this shouldn't even be a discussion.

I agree, but that's the problem. The SECw is stacked this year. LSU, Bama, Arkansas, and even Miss St could pull of an upset or two. I just don't see anyone making it out undefeated. Unless the other conferences don't have any teams that are undefeated, the SEC may not have a chance at the NC.

If there are 2 BCS teams that go undefeated then the SEC is in trouble. I still think a one loss LSU or Bama would get in over Boise St.

I just can't see anyone outside of Oklahoma being strong enough to run the table this season. Possibly a dark horse like Nebraska, or even FSU if they got the early win in Tallahassee over the Sooners.
