Penn state could help us out today, I’m praying

that said, I want Georgia to win today, and Bama to lose any game they have left. I don’t want Georgia losing to anyone before TN because youd be foolish to expect them to lose 2 times or twice in a row. We need to be their lose.
I was just about to say Penn state playing hard rn.! 14-10 with 6:00 left in the 2nd quarter.

If Penn State keeps sticking it to Ohio State like they are so far.....Our chances go up in any scenario guys. AIR?

I think a 1 loss B10 champ is in, unless the B12 champ is undefeated. I think that the SEC has a great chance of getting two teams in, I don’t know if there’s a scenario where the committee would put three SEC teams in.

Yeah they aren’t putting 3 sec teams in, they already catch enough flack for putting 2 in

I don’t understand how they would get the nod tho?? We beat the team that potentially could beat them and our sos is wayyy better??

How is our SOS better than either?

In that scenario, not only would those two be the division champs, but UGA would have a dominant win over a top 10 Oregon team and Bama would have a win over Texas in Austin, which is a better (and at worst equal) to a win over Pitt.

If Bama beats UGA in the SECCG we have no claim to a spot. Bama would be 12-1 with a championship, and UGA would be 12-1 with a win over us head to head.

So just win out!

One thing age has taught me, all this scenario talk with 5 games left to play is totally pointless. Much will change. The most important game of the season is a few hours from now.
Yeah crazy upsets always happen the last couple of weeks of the season. It will all sort itself out.

I just watched the guys go through the playoff scenario and they all agreed, if Georgia beats Tennessee next week, and all three of Alabama,Georgia, and Tennessee win out the regular season and Alabama beats Georgia, that Tennessee would be the team left out.. I know alot has to happen before now and then, but cmon our sos is better then both?? What do y’all think??
Sounds about right. It wouldn't be the CFP without Bama.

If it plays out as you posted.
Bama wins the SEC championship game.
It trumps a regular season win.
They are in.
Then it comes down to UGA vs UT and if they beat us , they would get in .

Unfortunately, a 1 loss Georgia team with h2h win does get in over a 1 loss Tenn, but if Georgia beats Bama, Tenn in.

A 13-0 TCU, 13-0 OSU, and 13-0 Clemson are probable. It’s not fair, but it’s not likely a second SEC team makes it if that happens.

Gonna be a lot of pissed off Bama, UGA, and or Tennessee fans this December.

We’ve got to win out most likely. Let’s ride.
I doubt TCU beats OK State again in the Big XII championship if they have a rematch.

If we beat UGA and lose to Alabama in the CG, then we are in. If UGA beats us and Alabama in the SEC CG, then we are also likely in. If we all end up with 1 loss, it will take a lot of help for us to get there.

Well…the SEC Champ has to get in over the other SEC teams. And if Ga and Tenn each have one loss, then head-to-head should Trump everything else.

Only reason they are still undefeated to this point is K State being down to their 3rd string QB last week. No way they win the Big 12 championship game

I wouldn’t bet against them. Not saying they are one of the best in the country, but probably the best in that conference (although OkSt could beat them).

The QB looks legit.

They'd pick Bama 1st because they won the conf.
They'd pick Georgia because of head to head.
Doesn't matter if Vols slip up tonight. Let's go bash them Cats!

If that were to happen that would mean Bama won the SEC, therefore deserving to get in. And it would mean Georgia beat us and won the East, as much as i hate to say it, i think that would be the right move.
