Revolutionary War and World War II were the only wars we had to fight in that freedom truly was on the line and the stakes mattered.

So Revolutionary War. Every other war was had nothing to do with America.

Pearl Harbor doesn't happen if we don't get involved in a Japanese oil embargo.

I disagree. If the Allies are beaten and US doesn’t get involved, Germany and Japan would not have left us alone.

Japan would have left us alone. They would have had no reason to war with us had we stayed out of Asian affairs.

Germany would have still had Russia to contend with on their eastern front. That would have taken up all of their attention. They would have spent every ounce of energy they had just trying to fight that fight. Even if they would have overcome the Russians, it would have been a Pyrrhic victory. All of Europe would have been destroyed and they wouldn't have had the stomach to then fight a war with a fresh United States across the Atlantic.

We would have entered WW2 regardless, hackles were already being raised about German activities in South America. It was a matter of time but it certainly made us jump in sooner.
