Well, normally I'd have to ask you guys how it went due to lack of coverage out here. The game was on here today, as you know it was nationally broadcast. Unfortunately my 8:30AM alarm failed to wake me up and I missed the game.

But, from the looks of it, nearly everything went right for us. Aside from special teams from what I've skimmed over on here. Rolling with the punts, are we?

Yeah, it all went well. Ran the ball, passed the ball, good pass and run defense. Wilhoit did good as did Colquit. No injuries. Burned one player's redshirt(stupid!). Punt returning still sucks(no blocking as usual).

2 fumbles, which, fortunately, is unusual for us this year. Ainge was smokin', on the money. Of the 4 incompletions, I think 2 were to avoid the sack and 1 was a drop. Actually, I can't remember a bad pass. His long balls were all on the money.

You gotta get TIVO milo. I love going back and watching the game commercial free.

Our offensive line couldn't get into the endzone from within the one yard line on three straight tries. That's pretty disconcerting. Especially considering that we were playing Memphis. Most of our running yardage came from the backs running around the line. We don't seem to get much push, or at least not enough push to run up the middle very well. Our goal line offense is eventually going to be short passes from the shotgun if the O-line doesn't step it up with the run blocking.

Yes I am sure. Foster was in, as was Vladimir Richard and Chris Scott. I couldn't see the other 2, but the centers are at the same level and I don't see having 3/4 backups in and one starter. Also, Coker was the starter but Hardesty was in, he was 2nd team as well.

I'll take your word for it since it makes me feel better. :)

Hardesty was 2nd team, but I think Coker was riding the bench a little because of his fumble. Plus, it's not like either of our running backs are really backups. They all get quite a bit of carries. Yancey is the true backup. The top three are almost like co-starters. I still don't think you can consider Hardesty a true second-teamer. Also, I could have sworn I saw Eric Young in there, as well.

He may have been. I don't think I saw the RT. It was:

Scott-LT
Richard-LG
?-C
Foster-RG

That's still not the starters other than 1-2. I still don't like how we won't go over the top.

It was nice to see the Vols almost put the bagel on Memphis. It did seem like some scoring opportunities were missed in the first half. I seriously doubt that UGA's defense will wear down the second half the way the Tigers' did today. All-in-all a good outing but I cannot see it translating to SEC competition. Anyone else see it that way?

I don't think what you do in any game will automatically translate into another. I think it was a big boost for our OL, even though it may be false confidence. I'll take false confidence over no confidence any day though.

Georgia always seems to have a great defensive line. Our O-line needs to keep improving. Hopefully, Foster's return will allow us to run it down their throats. He can be Mr. Inside, with Coker as Mr. Outside. Even so, Meachem and Swain better to be ready to have another monster game. Also, our linebackers need to be ready to help our D-Line stop the run.

Foster is better on sweeps than inside. Coker hits the hole better than Foster or Hardesty. Hardesty has more ability to run over guys but jukes too much. Also, UGA had fits trying to stop CU's running game.

Most of our running yards belong to Coker. Hardesty got stopped three times on the goalline. I think Coker is able to bounce it outside there and punch it in.
