Cant believe no one has said the greatest band to ever walk the earth.

LYNYRD SKYNYRD.

With all the original guys, this is a no brainer.

I showed them some love on page 2. I see you are from Sparta. I stopped by the Super Wal-Mart there last Friday on my way to Fall Creek Falls. Unfortunately we got dumped on by the rain that night.

WOW was it great. If I pick up a Beatles album what is the best one?

It was unforgettable, you couldn't hear them until halfway through the second song and then not well enough to be sure what the song was. Think it was She Loves You. As far as albums, of the originals it is hard to argue with Revolver. As far as redos I say get the Anthology. I liked some of the songs on Help and Srgt Pepper.

Which one had the good rendition of Revolution? It's not the White Album.

First recording was on Past Masters vol. 2, Hey Jude in the US. Then Revolution1 was on The Beatles in 1968.

Thanks, I wasn't sure... my dad used to drive me crazy with music when I was little, but I remember him picking up the White Album on cd and seeing it thinking "I like that one". Heard it, and it was acoustic... sort of.

As much as I like the song, I'll always associate it with the Nike commercial.

The Lynyrd Skynyrd Band - not what they try to pass off as Skynyrd now
it would be nice if they were accompanied by The Allman Brothers & The Charlie Daniels Band

But since they are all gone now aside from CDB....The Raconteurs show in Nashville on the 14th next Monday at 8 pm at the Mercy Lounge

My second choice would be The Smashing Pumpkins on the Siamese Dream tour.
