I still don't understand the scheduling, why does UT play West teams twice and Ky once in a season?

You see, all East teams play two teams from the West and Kentucky....with the exception of Kentucky who is also in the East, and is ineligible to play themselves.

You're thinking if basketball scheduling. To that end, there are no divisions for basketball, that's why we play some "west" teams more than "east" teams.

This thread, however, is about football scheduling for next season.

You sure?

I came back, seeking clarity on this post. Only to find things have gotten worse. I NEED ANSWERS.

You were supposed to say, "I want the truth!"

Then I was gonna be all like "You can handle the truth!"

Man, that woulda been hilarious.

Easily amused are we?

Actually, Aggie weighing in with his avatar as it is would have been better.

At this point, I'm starting to think I really can't handle the truth. I keep racking my brain, and nothing makes sense. I'm starting to question the purpose of life suddenly.

SEC East western opponents:

Tennessee - Alabama, @Ole Miss
Florida - @Alabama, LSU
Georgia - @Arkansas, Auburn
S. Carolina - Texas A&M, @Auburn

Tennessee's away game team does not start with "A"?

Bumping this thread to the "Zone" would make it more entertaining (IMO). Slice and the boys have some mad skills.

I officially designate conundrum. Next level will be mystery, which will be followed by enigma. If it turns into a full blown bugaboo, then I am calling shenanigans and calling it a day.

That's not terribly uneven.

Maybe I'm confused.

It's even but why do Georgia and Alabama hardly ever play each other? Since the expansion of Arkansas and South Carolina in 1992 and the divisional split they have only played 6 times in the regular season plus the 2012 SECCG (it is 4-3 Alabama including their SECCG win). Since 1966 they have only played 15 times (9-6 in Bama's favpr)...For some reason, it seems the powers that be in the SEC would rather this matchup happen in Atlanta at the end of the year and so it doesn't happen in the regular season...This upcoming season Georgia should have rotated back on Bama's schedule. Florida really is the team getting hosed - not us.

Actually, UGA and Bama would have rotated back on in 2012 but for the recent expansion. USCe should have rotated onto Bama's schedule in 2014, but the SEC wanted to go ahead and finalize the new cross-division pairings.

I feel pretty confident saying terry's answer would be "washing powders."

True (and I laughed) but pedigo may be the only one able to interpret the op...

I can decipher pedigo's posts easier than the op...and that scares me a little bit.
