One Week…

I said last week to another poster, from the bottom of my heart, I wish the Hoos the best of luck this season-after Sept 2 of couese. Their fans and players deserve a bit of sunshine.

Quite frankly, would wager that the lions share of UT fans want the same thing-a fun game experience and no injuries.

While Heupel gets his jollies running defenses ragged with his playcalling-I have seen no evidence of dirty play being any part of his philosophy.

One thing is for sure, I doubt any UT fan hates UVA. Now, that could change in a skinny minute on Saturday if UVA shows up and challenges the Vols but, believe we will continue to find that UVA fans are good people. (unlike those that habitate uninhabitable such creepy places like Tuscaloosa, Columbia, Athens, Baton Rouge, Swampville, etc.) Go Vols!!

Just stopping by to say hello and hope (really hope) we can keep it competitive next Saturday. We know the potential gauntlet y’all can be and we realize the uphill battle this fight will likely be. With that said, I’m praying for a clean, well played game with zero injuries. I understand the dislike for many of actual UVA grads. Please know, the Virginia natives/fans (not in NOVA) that DIDN’T go to the school are typically normal, blue collar folks and at the end of the day there are more of us than them.

Good luck and God bless.
Did any of y’all notice UT wore the Virginia logo on the back of their helmets all of last year?

Yeah, nothing against UVA, other than their politics. To each their own.

UT should win this game. Matters not to me what the final score is. What I want to see is complete control by the 1's on both sides of the ball. UVA will have their moments, but if UT is what we all hope they are, then we will see a bunch of fresh faces in the 2nd half.

Either way, just win, baby.

If I get to pick when and where UT opens a can of whoopass, it would be against USCe, UF, and UGA. In that order. That's just me.

So...hope both teams start and finish healthy, and Go Vols!

I lived in Bassett for a while when I was 12, then up to Ashland for a year or so. Had my first paper route and got Baptized there. I really learned to love the history of our great nation living in Ashland. If I remember correctly, Patrick Henry, "Give me liberty or give me death!", is a famous Virginian from that area. Oh, and saw the movie E.T. at the theater in Ashland.

Virginia is a beautiful state with a rich American history, but the Vols will not be taking it easy on the Cavaliers.

Go Big Orange!

I am so stoked for this season!

Hey - I’m a UVA grad :)

Hopefully this doesn’t get too ugly. Just want to see a few stops on defense and a couple of big plays on offense.

A loss of 20 > works for me if I see the above.

We have lived in several different places across the country. There are good and bad everywhere.

Kind of hate that your program is as low as it is right now. This doesn't set up to be a very competitive game.
