Only concern I have right now with recruiting

Is the lack of a true big man/center.

If Jarnell leaves at the end of the season, UT is in big trouble at center. They'd only have Yemi, unless Austin Nichols grows an inch and gains 30 more pounds.

Everything else is looking great. UT got an elite scorer at the guard position. UT has a point guard that can take over for Trae Golden (and is more a CCM type PG than Golden), and UT is looking great at the wing position.

The one thing I'll respond with...

What bigs does SEC have that currently scare you? Not many true centers who are 6'10"+ heavy and a true offensive threat.

I'm more scared of what happens if Yemi gets hurt.

Next year, ya never know, but wouldn't it be nice to have a true backup center just in case?

Depending on who. I wouldn't trade a project C, for the chance at AJ Davis. If we are talking dominic Woodson then hell yea.

I'd take Woodson in a heart beat.
Coaches will be at H Prep this season visiting Landry and Woodson being there doesn't hurt.
Guy has tremendous upside considering he's only starting his 5th season of organized ball.
Our interest may pick up again if he excels as I think he will this season.
We're still in his top 10.

I'm curious on his actual interest in UT, 10 is still pretty vague.

I still think UT is all in on the remaining 3...until one or more spurns UT I don't expect him to pursue anyone else.

I enjoy reading/watching y'all dialogue, but it's pretty funny to scroll the page, look at the avatars, and it looks as if CCM is having a conversation with himself.

That would be walking a dangerous line.
Kids are fickle.
We may concentrate on 3 but don't think we're not still working on others.

His staff may show some interest but not much...who's the last to receive a tennessee offer, it's been awhile, there's a reason for that.

CCM has put his eggs on a select few, Hubbs dad and coach confirmed this...he's taking a big chance by doing so, but so far it has paid off.

He seems like a kid that hasn't really gotten into his recruitment. What I mean is he hasn't taken it seriously in terms of finding a school for him. He's definitely going to be a Spring signing, which can only help UT.

The lack of a true center doesnt concern me all that much. The game is moving towards a 2 forward system anyways. At least that's what I've noticed. Very rarely do you see a true C these days.

Kind of my point. I feel yemi and austin could adequately guard most opposing teams posts.

I'm more concerned about the PG position honestly. I have hopes that Landry is an adequate replacement for Trae, but if he's not, we are really in a tough spot where we HAVE to land a difference-maker at that position. Fortunately, the '14 class is PG heavy.

Yea 2014 class is very PG heavy. Luckily...with guys like hubbs, Nichols(hopefully) etc around him...Landrys job is much easier than it looked this time last year when he committed.

We'll find out a lot about Landry this season.

Fulford brought him in for one reason, to feed the post. Okay maybe more than one, but not for shooting ability.
If he leads the country in assists, I'd be more than satisfied.

Kentucky and Florida will likely have dominant big men next season and didn't Arkansas just sign a pretty decent guy? (not sure about Arky) but I have no problem playing some Jay Wright basketball lol. Get us 4 elite guards and go to work!!!!
