Only concern I have right now with recruiting

We'll find out a lot about Landry this season.

Fulford brought him in for one reason, to feed the post. Okay maybe more than one, but not for shooting ability.
If he leads the country in assists, I'd be more than satisfied.

I agree, but he will be the only PG on the team. The fact that he is somewhat of a project has me concerned. I know he won't be asked to shoulder much of the scoring load, so provided he takes care of the ball, plays defense, and gets it to our scorers, he should be fine. I just hope he makes the transition quickly.

Recruiting combo SG/PG's heavy already for 2014.
Out of Lyle, Hill ,Terrell and Jackson probably a very good PG in there somewhere.

I would LOVE to have a 5ppg 10apg 2to 90%ft PG....could Landry be that? Maybe.

I know many like the scorers like Rose, Wall etc...but I love me an assist and rebounding PG, a la Rondo...although he has some scoring games.

Yeah. I noted the PG depth in the '14 class. If we miss with Landry, it's imperative that you sign an elite PG for 2014, and then you are relying on a freshman. I just hope playing at HP really improves Landry's game. We really can't afford for him to be another Wes Washpun.

Think Wes was just a little immature for D1.
Might have done well with a year of Juco.
Landry is older for his age if that makes sense.

I think he's already better than Washpun. He doesn't score a lot and isn't flashy, I can't think of many pass first non scoring PGs who are rated highly.

Yeah I wasn't comparing their games really. I just hope he is not a reach and then flames out in the college game like WW did.

Edit: The reach comment being based on his lack of productivity on the summer circuit. He didn't seem to improve much.

Yeah. Rob Fulford's a pretty good judge of talent.
Seems to get the chemistry right where ever he goes.
Wouldn't have snagged Landry if he didn't think he'd pull his weight.

Landry's job is simple - keep the turnovers down and assists up. With XRM and Wiggins getting their points there isn't much additional scoring needed. Landry appears solid to me. JMO

Returning to the OP, what about Kennedy Meeks? All of the recruiting sites I have looked at list him as having interest in us. Is there any serious mutual interest there?

No. He's going to an ACC school, waiting on an UNC/Duke offer.

I enjoy reading/watching y'all dialogue, but it's pretty funny to scroll the page, look at the avatars, and it looks as if CCM is having a conversation with himself.

That was pretty funny right there. I scrolled back up and noticed that after you said it.... and you are right. Hilarious.
