Only One Endzone at Wrigley

I assume the organizers had planned to play on the field normally, but then the higher ups changed that for safety reasons. I don't know why else you would have field goal posts on both ends.

What happens if a pick 6 happens?

Ever see a women's lacrosse game......when the whistle blows they all freeze....if a pick six is happening, they will blow the whistle ant about the 10 yard line going in, and all will freeze.....then they will all go to the west end of the field and reset....then they will blow the whistle agin and they will finish the play
I mean, Northwestern is the best women's lacrosse program in the country ya know.

There is actually an end zone down there.

That set up looks stupid. Two garbage teams, Nortwestern was fun to watch till Persa got hurt, playing in a garbage stadium. Gameday being there is a travesty. I'm with you TXVol I would be pissed too. Oh if you can't tell I'm not a Cubs fan...

thats really dumb. what if a guy picks one off and starts to run the other way? do they automatically not get a chance for a pick 6?

It's like pick-up basketball. You just have to "take the ball out." So they just take it to the 50 and then turn around. Also, what happens on a punt? Do the teams switch sides? Sounds like a nightmare for keeping the clock.

Jim Rome just asked:

Are they going to have a full-time qb?
Does the D count 4 or 5 Mississippi?
One blitz per four downs?
Is a 1st down 2 completions?
Are they going to kick it off or will the QB just run up and throw it as far as he can?

Only time you should have one endzone is if the other is blocked by a dumpster, pond, trees or parked cars.

Funny stuff.

You think the guy that came up with this idea and new configuration will lose his job over it.

Maybe they'll actually sell more tickets when people hear about how screwed up it will be.
Something to tell your grandkids I guess.

It's been a fun game to watch, IMO.

There should actually be more of these football games in baseball stadiums.

Most would. I just like the novelty of playing games in places like these.

If a school has not established itself and has a stadium with some history to it, ex. Neyland, Kyle, the Shoe, Death Valley, ect... I cam understand it being flashy. It's just not for me.
