In the war room on VQ it talked about how there is about 2 or three recruits in the 2012 class to watch for. I would say the three could be

Jay Rudwall 5'11 200 pound Linbacker who is as stong as Jac was as a senior

Mikhail Creech 6'2 175 lb saftey. Unreal range and has a 6'8 wingspan. Good bball player

Chris James 6'1 190 lb linebacker hits like a rock

yeah - Sammy Seamster.. Brian Marshall.. - and just about any college baseball team in the state has a few Ooltewah players - would be 3-4 more for football if they hadn't chosen baseball instead. Ooltewah's talent pool has increased probably by more than 500% in the past 6-8 years.

Seamster is an SEC talent just didnt play fball long enough same with Johnny Myricks who signed with Carson Newman for fball after only one year of it

Yeah - got an offer from Syracuse at the last minute - but declined in though and stick with MTSU.

Anyone remember Patick Flannigan? I believe he's still the single game rushing record holder. Either single game or season. Think he went for like 2500 one year.

Yeah - that was an insane season - but like always ended in the semis sadly..

If I'm not mistaking we (Red Bank) trashed yall (Ooltewah) @ Finley the 1st or 2nd game of the year. If not that year than the one before or after. I remember Weathers took Fred Holder out with like 295 yds passing.

Who was the kid named Sammy from Ooltewah. Can't remember what year or why I remember that name but for some reason SAMMY rings a bell.

As far as I know, Blake Foster still holds the single game record while Patrick Flannigan holds the season record. I played from 01'-04' and saw Foster break the record against Central. 300+ yards IIRC.

It's unreal the talent level Ooltewah has had this past decade but no state titles. But you can't really complain too much if you remember how Ooltewah Football used to be before Gatewood...

Yeah that was the first game in 01'. The Free Press hyped it up as Patrick Flannigan vs. Gerald Riggs, but it was Riggs all the way. Ooltewah actually lost the first three games of the season but won out until the state semi's.

But don't worry, we stomped yall (Red Bank) in the rematch the next year at Finley :)

That's right. Thanks for clearing that up. Foster came a bit after Flannigan. Didn't they have a qb who played baseball too that was pretty good. Maybe even more recently.
