Could be but you still had Miller and J Williams if they didn't want to plug Vereen in. IMO, Jones nailed it when he said that the D would go as McCullers went... which also leads me to believe that the decision was intentional to go big and slow last year. Part of a grand strategy or just showing deference to the seniors? I'm not sure. Hopefully... strategy.

Alan might be one of those kids that will never play much but loves being on the team and takes pride in being apart of a big time program like UT. Hope he finds a moment of glory sometime this year like a big sack, TFL, or fumble recovery. Glad he's a vol.

The only thing I really took from practice yesterday was this... Justin Worley threw the piss out of the football! Accuracy $$$ Ask Swain!!

Impossible news on Worley. The know it alls said his arm is weak and he can't make the throws.
He's needed confidence and to step into throws. Now, let's see If he can carry it over. I looked great on the practice range yesterday but went David Duval when it counted.

Worley has sure paid his dues at UT. I hope he has a year that gets him drafted or picked up by an NFL team. I am assuming there is no doubt that he will be the starter.

That stat is only from route vs air drills. I'm sure there were other situational drills as well. You think the qbs only made 64 passes in a two hour practice?
