Yepp, we have both! Black helmets and orange helmets were ordered at the same time as the Smokey Grays. The orange helmets arrived and had to be sent back to be repainted, but I believe they have them back now.

Gotta disagree. Nothing about playing that trash program in that cookie cutter stadium warrants anything other than our standard road uni. Save fun uniforms for meaningful opponents or cupcakes.

I look at it differently. It almost seems like a slight to an opponent to wear a non-standard road uni. It sends the messages “We’re gonna wear whatever we want” and “We don’t consider you a rival.”

I can see your point. I’m just leery of sending any signal that uga is respected in any way.

I think it's great that most are at least giving us an outside shot at winning this game...who woulda thought that. I'm just afraid many are setting themselves up for big disappointment. This is a Bama team with nothing but 4 and 5 stars. Delusional to think we win by multiple tds. But...Go Vols.

Uniforms do not win games. Players do. Coaching also important. Refs can influence for sure. IDK but, I prefer the uniforms we practice in the most. Call me engineer-crazy but, when the QB gets used to seeing a white helmet, that makes the pass-catch more likely.

Speaking of football helmets. During the Florida game, I saw some players wearing some weird long football helmets.. like the front of the helmet seemed extended. It was a lineman I saw them a few times just a glimpse they weren't on screen for long but it stood out. Does anyone have any idea? It was like the crown of the helmet extended forward an extra inch or so almost like a brim.

When I saw the thread w/ J. Thomas pic of the 2 helmets, that was my first thought was they’d be used on the road w/ white jerseys and orange pants.

I’d like to see this helmet with black pants and white jerseys with black outlines on numbers with black names like the old days for a away game somewhere along the way
