Teaming the first team offense with the second team defense makes sense.

Lol but

I think most teams go 1v2 and 2v1 to see which 2nd stringers shine.

We are just looking for which one if our first stringers to shine this year.

So we will go 1v1 and 2v2.

You can get some glimpses of what they want to do from watching this video recapping what they did at UC last year:

The Bubble is their practice facility. They pretty much did what you would expect, with (as much as I could tell) a normal scrimmage. Obviously it’s not in the same universe of importance as it is in the SEC, so they don’t really say much about it.

True, but at least most years it's been an entertaining orange squad vs. white squad affair.

I think this years will be better. What good does it do dividing up the 1's and playing against each other. And it will let us better judge who's got the edge this spring between the offense and defense. I'm just excited to see some butch ball!
