I'm not even going to waste mine or anyone else's time trying to justify Bama as a top 4 team. I also feel like TCU getting to stay in the top 4 after losing, can't be justified.

TCU staying is justified based on the body of work on the alternatives. You can't justify Bama over them, or UT over them, or USC. Someone has to get that 4th spot. UGA lost their title game last year, got in, and won. Bama has done that as well. I don't see why you penalize TCU for this loss, they beat KSU earlier, and they have just one loss, why punish them because that loss happens to come in a league title game to a good team they've beaten?

Help me out here, not a TCU versed kind of guy. What is their body of work. I see only KSU who they split with in the CFP top 25. What am I missing?

It ain't much but better than Bama. That win over K State is better than any win Bama has. Tennessee has better wins than Bama and TCU. TCU doesn't have a killer resume, but it's better than any other potential 4 seed like Bama. That's all that matters. They beat Texas, as Bama did, with Texas's starting QB playing the game.

Then by all means, let’s go play that powerhouse YAAC team if we are that scared. It would generate so much excitement we couldn’t stand it. Win or lose, I’m more interested in seeing how Joe Milton handles things after a months practice with the first team against a good P5 team and not Vandy. Ain’t learning a thing against Tulane.

I agree. I’m not saying the Vols can’t beat them either. We’ve beat better teams this year.

However, our defense is pretty bad against the passing game and this kid seems solid.

I hope TCU gets in too. They have a good resume. I was just hoping they'd be a #3 seed and avoid Georgia. TCU has a better resume than Ohio State.
