What difference does it make??

Virtually every single thread & comment on this forum makes no difference in Tennessee Football or the universe. Different folks have different perspectives. If one is disinterested how bout moving on rather sounding just like Hilary?

I wouldn’t say it “means little”. A NY6 Bowl is still a big deal. There’s just not quite the reverence for it the way there was back in the day when there was no playoff you had Sugar, Orange, Rose and Fiesta Bowls on January 1st every year and playing on New Years Day truly felt reserved for elite teams.

What an archaic way to pick a champion though lol.
Dangerous words you put down. I said almost word for word the same sentence and people tried to tell me how awesome the Bowl Alliance and the BCS was.

Not gonna lie, when Dabo looked at Heupel and said we look forward to seeing y’all in the playoffs in a couple years, I got all warm inside. And he was right in saying this is basically a playoff game bc both teams are playoff worthy

I think it only feels different because people decided it does. The only change was 2 more teams playing for an NC. 12 teams might make it less important though. Unless NY6 bowls are reserved for playoff teams.
