Orange Bowl minus the BIG ORANGE?

I wanna know how many more national championship games have been as lopsided as this one... Get allvol on the job.

I'm going to say they're done getting into the end zone. 51 - 17

The only game I can remember being this bad was the first Florida-Nebraska game (1996?). That one was something like 63-10.

Now the question is, will OU fall below the Vols in the polls?

Let's not lose our minds here. OU will still be a top 5 team. [/quote]
My guess is that they will be ranked fifth after this. If Cal had not choked, they would be sixth.

I was half-kidding about falling below the Vols. But if I were a pollster, I'd put them outside of the top 5.

Nebraska won in '95 then Florida came back the next year and won the rematch.

I was just thinking how much this game is reminding me of UF's whipping at the hands of the Corn. UF did not beat the Corn though they beat FSU who had beaten them in the season finale.

LenDale White just did the Deion Sanders touchdown dance!!!!!!!!!!

You know that has to be smarting to the Boomer Sooners.

I'll never forget Tommy Frazier dragging everyone on the Florida team down the field for a TD.

OU finally figured out how to stop USC. Let them score and then back them up with Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalties after they celebrate.

Florida went on to win the MNC the next year by beating F$U in the Sugar Bowl, 52-20. UF went in ranked #3, F$U was #1. They were voted #1 because #2 Arizona St. lost to #4 Ohio State in the Rose Bowl.

What I forgot was that the next year - like Don said - Florida beat the hell out of FSU 52-20.
