For as much as Petrino gets puffed up, this is at least two games this year where he was favored by quite a bit and hasn't been able to blow the doors off teams with less talent.

He has struggled against great defensive coaches (Schiano and now Grobe). He can usually outscore offensive minds like Rodriguez. Defense wins games, baby. Or championships. Or something.

Tied going into the fourth. Another great bowl game. Almost all the bowls this year have been great.

This game has a "Lincoln Financial" feel to it for some reason.

Speaking of broadcasters, who is the one that keeps referring to the middle of the field as centerfield? I've watched probably five plays of this game and I've heard "Brohm, scanning centerfield" three times.

I don't like when it takes them that long to signal a TD. Why wait? If you see the ball cross the plane, put your hands up. It makes me feel like they are just guessing and hoping that the replay can bail them out if they are wrong.

Refs in the majority of the games wait too long to make a call or blow a play dead. It's getting ridiculous.

case in point right there on the punt, letting the Wake players kick it back after it had stopped without blowing the ball dead, retarded

Louisville just sealed the deal with an INT. It's now 24-13 UL with 3 minutes left. The game was tied going into the fourth. A couple of bad breaks killed WF.

Riley Skinner is freaking awesome for a freshman QB. He'll have a great career for the Demon Deacons.

Two great coaches. Louisville is already a perrenial power. In a few years, Wake might be in a similar situation.

I am going to have to listen to a lot of talk from my neice's husband, who is from Louisville.
