Yes Alabama should be ranked higher than Tennessee stop being biased.
Look when you are like 10 spots ahead I get it but when it’s one spot and you both have two losses it’s head to head . That’s how it works . We have two losses they have two losses they lost to a team we demolished , you’re being biased with Bama who have the beaten ? Answer no one haven’t beaten a team with more than 8 wins they had two tests failed them both Bama bias fact if their name was TCU you’d be singing a diff tune

We are behind Alabama because of when we lost. We just lost 2 weeks ago and was a spot or two ahead of them.

Shouldn't be cause we beat Bama. They should not be ranked ahead of us period. But We know how that goes!!
We don't have our starting QB. Right now a lot of teams are better than us. The CFP guys are supposed the best 4 teams right now. Not the best team for the entire season. If HH was healthy, the South Carolina loss could be rationalized by the talking heads, just like Oregons loss to Ga or ND's loss to Marshall, etc etc. I absolutely don't want to play a really good team in a bowl. A loss and the overated howling would deafen us not to speak of the negas on this site.

I can see the Orange taking osu if they don't make the playoffs which would keep us out.
Probably Rose Bowl bound if they don't sneak into the playoffs.
That is true too. My head keeps spinning.

Only way OSU ends up in the Orange Bowl is if Purdue somehow beats Michigan in the B10 title game this weekend. That would send Purdue to the Rose Bowl and bump OSU down to the Orange. If chalk holds, Michigan to the CFP, OSU to the Rose. If both get into the CFP, Penn State gets sent to the Rose Bowl.

Penn St is one spot ahead of us in the coaches poll, and it's the reverse in the AP poll. There's no way they should be ranked ahead of us in any poll based on quality wins. I just hope the CFP does the right thing, and we go to Miami.

My prediction is Penn State vs. Tulane in the Cotton Bowl. That's an at-large selection by the CFP versus Non P5.

I imagine that’ll be where the Vols are projected to go with LSU & ND losing. Should be close to a lock baring the Tigers winning the SEC Title.
Its the Orange or Sugar. We will have to wait until final rankings. If Bama is ranked ahead of us, they will get the sugar and we will go to the orange. If we are ranked higher, we will get the sugar bowl. It's is one or the other.

I understand the arguments for Tennessee and Bama. But vols1313 attachment says it all. If it does come down to Tennessee and Bama if they use their own established criteria for the 2 team tie breaker system Tennessee will be ahead of Bama. It is spelled out in their own guidelines. It probably won’t come down to who gets number 4 but if it did they would be going against their own set of criteria for breaking a tie. As far as New Years 6 goes it is simple the highest ranked sec team outside the playoff top 4 goes to the Sugar. The second highest the Orange and the cotton 3rd. GBO!

I give a damn. We should’ve taken care of business and beat Carolina and be discussing playoff matchups for us instead of arguing about which irrelevant bowl we’re going to get. Should Bama be ranked ahead of us? Does it even really matter unless it gets us to the playoffs? We’re arguing like kids about what irrelevant bowl we get to be a part of.

We're still not in the playoff right now, even had we beaten USCjr. Unless UM, TCU, USC unexpectedly lose their title game. The committee was not going lift us(11-1) above a 12-1 Conf champ USC, or undefeated TCU, or even 12-1 title game loser UM. It would still take a USC or TCU loss to get us in IMO. We might leapfrog a losing UM, but I doubt it.

Careful. I remember the last time we got them and their ACC not up to par selves. They are still running around that GA dome I heard, and it's been torn down for years.
Not sure a game that happened before some of our current players were born is really that important
