I would like to know, and you guys can point me to the thread if it exists.

Is there a list somewhere on here that compares TN players opting out vs. CLEM players opting out.

It would be nice to see a side by side comparison. Using this information would help us better understand the bowl game rosters for both teams. We obviously don't have the same roster, I just wonder what CLEM. roster looks like going into the Orange Bowl.

Votes No. I can't get my emotions in line with my pathetic discriminatory fandom on this one. Just FEELS like one of those games where we falter. With Hooker I'd be different.
Have a big 2 family get together to watch game w friends who are CU nuts from SC. Gon be fun and hope I get to console them, but I just can't see it right now.

Wearing dark shades and future looking bright. GOVOLS!!!! CJH said he came here to win championships and I believe he will. Eventually Georgias and Alabamas runs will come to an end. Alabama already peaked, Clemson peaked, Ga will win this one then start slowing fading.
I love the optimism. I agree! runs come to an end teams rise and fall. I'm excited to see what the future holds!!

GO VOLS!!!!!

I'd say we'd need most the breaks to go our way to win. I think we keep it close, but in the end can't score enough without Hooker leading the offense.

See below. The DE player is projected to be a high 1st round draft pick and the LB I think is projected to be second round pick. Should help us with ground game as well as blocking for the pass. Also their starting QB (DJ) is in the portal but his backup is pretty good.
The teams are about even IMO about the impact of players not playing so I hope we don’t use that excuse if we should happen to loss.

Clemson
  • QB DJ Uiagalelei (Transfer portal)
  • RB Kobe Pace (Transfer portal)
  • WR Beaux Collins (Injury)
  • WR Decari Collins (Transfer portal)
  • WR EJ Williams (Transfer portal)
  • DE Myles Murphy (Opt-out)
  • DE Xavier Thomas (Injury)
  • DE Justin Foster (Unknown)
  • LB Sergio Allen (Transfer portal)
  • LB Vonta Bentley (Transfer portal)
  • LB Trenton Simpson (Opt-out)
  • CB Malcolm Greene (Injury)
  • DB Fred Davis II (Transfer portal)

Would def feel better about this game with Hooker at QB but I think we win 27-24 Joe connects on a couple of deep balls and our defense steps up and plays really good. We kick a late FG to win.

I thought the players really liked Milton.
All these negative comments are coming from fans that say things like overthrow Joe. In other words not thinking logically. I was rewatching the Tennessee/Alabama game and Hooker had two terrible overthrows one an interception but no one talks about that. Milton will be fine and Vols win big

With Hooker and Hyatt yes.
Without, no.
It sucks that we have to use Milton, squirrel white keyton….. oh wait they are really good too. At the beginning of the year people were hoping Hyatt would step his game up. Look what he did…. The sky is falling. Some of you amaze me 🥹

News flash, Tennessee offense has faced stout defense before. Ask yourself how the Clemson defense would perform if they were in the SEC. Marshall and Troy rank higher than Clemson and I think we beat them too.

I think Milton will be player of the game in the Orange Bowl. Hooker had as many over throws as Milton this year and we still went 10-2.
