I heard Bob Welton, Dir of Player Personnel of UTs football program, tell Doug Matthews on his "Big Orange Sunday" radio show a couple months back, that we would sign a full class, 25. Since then we have given both Swafford and Gilliam (walkon players) scholarships that would count toward that 2015 number. Therefore, if nothing else changes (but surely will), that leaves us with 23 signees for the 2015 class.

Gilliam will not count as a initial counter as he has been here over 2 years.

Swafford will.

Was going to predict nobody would commit until after the weekend.
Decided this late into Saturday I'd get flamed for waiting so long.
Glad to see I would have also gotten flamed for being completely wrong.

You have to remember that just because the fans see UT in a kids top 3, 5, 7, 22 or whatever, does not actually mean UT stands a chance to get them. Obviously the coaches would have a feel for where they stand with who. Have to trust them when they take kids who are not "rated" so high.

The ratings change a lot from here to nsd. They're not set in stone at all. Don't take them seriously right now. You could see half of the four stars dropped to three, and three stars moved to four.
