OK. Just finished this book. The author puts most of the blame last season all on Fulmer's shoulders. He takes sides with Randy Sanders, Pat Washington, and Jimmy Ray Stephens. He pretty much says that Fulmer's gameplans were trash and Randy Sanders resignation is the fault of the offense. He makes Rick Clausen out as a whiner and an excuse maker who reapeatedly bashed Fulmer during the season but was quick to join the staff as a graduate assisstant. He says that the firing of Sanders cost us Jimmy Clausen. (who cares)
But a good read anyway. I told my wife that i read it for closure. But now that im done i am not sure that much has changed from last year. I am really worried about my beloved Vols and the direction Fulmer has them going. We could be in for another long year on Rocky Top guys.
Here is one of the best lines in the book. Hard to swallow but funny none the less. "Charlie Brown kicked the football. The band geek took the prettiest girl in school to the prom. A pair beat a royal flush. Wile E. Coyote caught the roadrunner.
VANDERBILT BEAT TENNESSEE.
Hope we can fix this.
