I say no, just to send the message to those five-head cousin-lovers that *yawn* this is just another game.

We didn't come up with the stripe/checker stands. We got the idea from Oklahoma when we went there and they striped their stands in 2014 I think it was, we checkered their visit the Neyland the following year.

But our stadium is the best in the country, plenty of room to hash out other designs, like a power T in the mid sections, or horizontal stripes would be cool.

We technically could do a white out as well. But for the Bammer game, I think it's all orange baby.

I thinking we probably do the All-Orange look for this one like others mentioned. Certainly not the Smokey Grays or Dark Mode, as this one is about tradition more than any other game. No Checker board in the stands either.
yea i think an orange-out, not that most don't already wear orange, but to make it part of the game experience it would be even more dramtic

As I recall a fan saw the stripes at OU and lead the charge for the checker. I like that it was fan initiated and kind of become a new once a year tradition.

I’m glad I’ve been present for it in person at least once. It’s beautiful on TV but a true site to behold in person.

Orange out feels like any other game. Not a bad thing, just not sure it’ll look much different than a typical Saturday
