See this is what southern hospitality is all about. I’ve been a UT fan since I was 10 (long story) and I’ve been to a UT/ND game in South Bend. Stopped at Neyland on the way to my Honeymoon (wife is fan now also), and stopped on road trip for a day for spring scrimmage with my kids but it got canceled from a thunderstorm.
but I’ve never been to a UT game at Neyland. And I’ve told my wife “no joke I bet people from the message board would HOST us people in Tennessee are so great.” We vacationed in Tennessee and she thinks it’s beautiful. I want to retire there. ❤️
I, unfortunately was born and raised in Louisville KY. My father went to UT and played some baseball back in the 70's. I am only 3 and a half hours to Knoxville but still have to say that there is never a year that I don't get an invite to stay close If I don't want to make the drive in Knoxville, Cleveland TN, and Norris lake depending on who offers. It never amazes me the hospitality and family dynamic you get in the Volunteer State versus Kensucky. If you all make it to a game this year and want to get a head start back north and need respite for the night, you're welcome at my spot as well! It's in Goshen KY on the Ohio just north of Louisville in Oldham County. If you let me know what game you are trying to get to see in Neyland this year, I might be able to help you all out. Dam Yankees have no clue how to treat people. I kid but most are cold and callus to the thought of a what most on here call hospitality and family.

Tennessee's greatest resource is its people. I wish I was back there. But, I'm not feeling another move in me.
