Why did TN drop those awesome orange pants? They used to look really cool with the white road jerseys. I also like the all orange uniform on the rare occasion. TN needs to mix it up with the uniform, at least for big games like FL, GA, AL.. etc.

Yes, I would love to see Tennessee wearing all Orange again.

Orange pants for away games look OK, but I'm with Milo on the the monochrome look at home. I don't think it looks good on anybody.

No kidding . . . Is there anything more lame than a team switching up the uniforms for a big game?

Trust me, no visiting team has ever looked into the tunnel as the home team comes running out and said "Oh no! We're screwed! They're wearing different pants!!!!"

I don't know about that. Those all purple Clemson uniforms scare the hell out of me.

Heck yes I'm glad someone else finally said something. I was telling a coworker just the other day that Tennessee needed to bring back the orange pants for away uniforms. I loved the orange pants!

AMEN...one of the best decisions Phillip ever made was trashing the orange pants. The second best decision was trashing the white pants with the 4 foot wide orange stripe down the side. The third best decision was going back to black shoes.

Orange pants with the white jerseys for away games are not bad.

But please, do not bring back the all orange look.

Especially with the orange cleats!

I did lik the white shoes.

And GAVol, there are some good monochrome uniforms out there. In generic colors only though, namely red, blue or black.

I think Donatello is just wanting a change. I like variety too. Change it up every once in awhile and have an alternate uniform. I liked the uniform they wore on the home opener against UNLV a few years ago. How about some black pants on the road? Just as an alternate. I can't wait until it is time to "RACK" people. The RACKDOME will be rocking.

no all orange home unis.....in case anyone remembers, the last time we did it against Memphis a few years ago we almost lost....

if they want to bring 'em back for away games with the white jerseys, i'd go for that, but no more all orange....and i like the black cleats....

and no black alternate uni's.......in football anyway.

and i want the fat stripe back on the helmets...i hate the skinny stripe.

I strongly disagree. The narrow stripe looks better. The uni's had nothing to do with us almost losing to Memphis. We were just flat that day. But we won, thanks to the awesome catch by Bobby Graham. Bring back the Orange pants and RACK'em

No, I was saying I get you... that was the main thing that seemed to indicate it was the same guy. :p Not many racking people go around racking all the racking time. Rack.
