Me and Shirley were there last year. Didn't care for the scoring setup and format last year. Would rather see the team divided into
mixed OL, WRs, RBs, and TE units. Then each QB given a full and consecutive three or more 4 down series with each unit mix.
Plus go a full 4 quarters. Do the same with the DLs. I think we get a fuller spectrum of our players. abilities and readiness. Let the boys play.
We enjoyed the trip to Knoxville. Eating at Calhoun's but will never park there again. Seeing the Vol Navy up close and personal. walking the riverside and all over the UT campus. Exploring the interior of some of the buildings. Strolling completely around Neyland. Watching kids having so much fun we wanted to be kids again ourselves. Having breakfast at Pete's as usual. Enjoying Market Square shopping at farmers' market and stuffing our ice chest with goodies to haul back to KY. If you do this have lots of artificial and long lasting ice or dry ice to keep perishables fresh. We're lucky enough to stay at a friend's guesthouse so have a fridge to store and refreeze the ice packs during the night
before leaving Knoxville. In any case, while we enjoyed the trip, we prefer to see a better format so will wait until we hear more from CBJ as to how the O&W game will be conducted this year. Good morning Voooolnaaaation!!!!!!!!!!
[Note: Just found out the same format as last year will be used for this year's O&W game. I understand it's still a practice session but would like to see more of a real football game. So sadly, Shirley and I will fore go the costs of attending this one. We'll use the savings to attend a real game during the season.]
