I don't understand the hate for Boise State, TCU, and Utah. Then again, after the Sugar Bowl a couple years ago, I don't think anyone on this board actually hates Utah.

Nevada is a pretty good team. They are no Auburn, but no SOTPCS either.

Utah proved that they were good and beat a good Bama Team, TCU use to great season's in the early 2000's but they use to have OU on the schedule and when they played OU they'd get that tail beat,I think if they had OU on schedule they would lose today. San Diego St. who isn't a world beater almost came up with the W against TCU! I am tired of these school being undefeated because of Scheduling

I dont understand either. If thay had a kicker that didnt choke on a chip shot, this thread wouldnt even have happened. Nevada is a good team too, they put up 50+ on Cal who almost beat Oregon.

No playoffs lets take it back to strenghth of schedule, make these guys play a good team in the regular season and not hurt them when they lose to a good ranked team

It's a bunch of jealousy and SEC fanboyism. I hate this damn "they don't play in a real conference" argument. Anybody watch the NCAA basketball tournament last year?

Yea there is always an if but you gotta agree that both FG's were a chip shot, and in Boise's defense, theres A LOT of teams in weak conferences that dont come close to what Boise has been doing!!

When FSU and Bowden wanted to relevant they played tough teams,Miami, and guest what us UT (us) under Majors! If Boise,TCU, and Neveda whats the respect schedule it like past teams have and Win that's when you get respect!

What does a major conference power gain from scheduling Boise? Nothing. It's not that simple.

BTW, that argument is crap, too, because damn near every time they get the chance they capitalize on it.

I totally agree, buts thats was their fault in a way when don't schedule through out the year teams that will test you when you have a real team thats just as good and talent! teams usually fold

And Boise St., TCU, Utah, etc. haven't won any big games since, so I can totally see your point about one game five years ago.
OK,Boise ST. beat OU and Orgeon, Utah Beat Bama, and TCU has beaten who! I kindof like this on bowl games if you have been studying a team for a month or month and half you should beat them! Do it on a regular bases in the regular season, run the gaulet!

How? If teams won't play you, you can't do it.

What's the argument going to be when Boise joins the Mountain West next year? Hell, the Big East isn't any better than the MWC this year and the ACC isn't that much better.

we will see if they can play! TCU will more likely play other tough teams and show if they can play big boy ball day in and day out! I personally can't wait to see Utah get that tail beat in the Pac-12!

i think top to bottom both of those conferences are better than where boise plays. not big 12, 10 pac or SEC ,but still much tougher than they have it now.
