Can we buy out of this game? This schedule is very hard for a new coach (even Gruden). We are going to get a new coach and we bought out the UNC game a couple of years ago. We really don't need to go to Eugene next year especially after the UF butt whooping we are going to take.

We don't need to waste money to get out of a loss.

May win, you never know. Plus Kelly may jump ship to the NFL before NCAA finds anything. We can always hope.

Hell, I want to go to Eugene. Never been. And who's to say we can't win, they will have a new coach just like us.

Our defense will be a lot more experienced and faster next season. With a new coach hopefully that will bring more depth with better recruits. I also think we will sign more that 25 because of all the player that got dismissed this year. I also believe either tyler bray or CP will stay. We will be fine.

Um.... why do you think Gruden asked a bunch of questions about Chip Kelly's coaching style? I saw an article where that was mentioned. I think Gruden has a PLAN baby!!

Oregon has been feeding off of soft defenses with a fast paced bag of tricks. If Stanford can put the brakes on them, Tennessee can too. Obviously with some half competent coaching and an attitude adjustment. No SEC team should ever want to run from the ducks.

Because in a coach's first year he wants to send a message to the team that we don't want to play any good teams because we may lose.

You measure where you are as a program by playing the best. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm sick to death of playing these smaller schools div 2, wasn't so long ago that UT could boast that they had never played a div2 school.
Buy out the Ducks? Hell no, let the chips fall where they may.

We are TENNESSEE!...We don't back down from anybody...We used to play these type of games all the time and won a lot of them and never backed down...Hamilton buying us out of the UNC series was a disgrace....Quit sounding like a coward...Got to go into Eugene next year and whip that ass

Grow a pair! You got to play these games to advance the program. Can't keep playing the division II and lower level division I games and expect to improve the program. Man up and bring on the Ducks!:clapping:
