I think Chip had one foot in the NFL last offseason. I could see him going to the NFL if he goes anywhere

Not with a whole month to get ready for them first

That's the thing. I want to believe in Oregon but I don't know if I can when every time a team's had more than a couple weeks to prepare for them they've been contained pretty well (2009 Boise State, 2010 Rose Bowl, 2011 NCG, 2011 LSU, etc.). Really, the only time they've had success against a well-prepared opponent was this year's Rose Bowl, and that was against a very overrated Wisconsin defense.

Wisconsin usually has a dominant o line and can run on anybody (not this year) but they are slow on defense

Oregon is a fast team, faster than Bama. That being said, I think Bama is faster than any other team in the Pac12 (USC? haven't seen them much) and has much stronger lines. I want to see how Oregon handles Alabama's strength on both lines, can their LB's finish and how do they hold up over the course of the game.

I'd love to see Bama/Oregon. What do you think the line would be?

Bama - 5.5? O/U:43

I could see Alabama as a td favorite or so, but I think they smash the ducks with a month plus to prepare.

i agree with that...saban has proven with a month to prepare his teams are almost unbeatable. to me this has been the theme of the last 6 NCs except last years where its some conference where a team won with a high powered offense and an sec team got it done with defense and obviously the defense has won everytime... i just dont think oregon is physical enough to play with them... but i do love watching their O and it would be an interesting matchup nonetheless

This year they look a lot more physical than in years last

they have definitely had an oppurtunistic defense, but i just cant see them having a D that could contain bamas run game when none of the SEC defenses have so far this season
