I very seriously doubt it because of the travel issues I mentioned earlier. The Pac-12 encompasses about a third of the entire continental 48. It will probably continue to be a home game to the higher seeded team.

and possibly due to the most-likely/best-fit (/biggest) location would become a big home game for 2 of its members, when/if they made it

Well that may just do it. Not a whole lot of room for error against Oregon, you need points on the majority of possessions.

Is it me or has Oregon toned it down on the unis this season? I swear I've seen the same combinations more than once unlike last season when they had a different combo for every game.

.

Ucla didnt really have a chance regardless, but they need a neutral site for this game.

To bad wouldn't have minded seeing Oregon in BCS title game they have an explosive offense.

Every time an opponent has more than a week or two to prepare for Oregon their offense becomes pretty ineffective. 17 points against OSU, 20 points in the first 59:30 against LSU, 19 against Auburn, etc.

I don't think it's having time to prepare so much as having elite defensive linemen that can blow the play up before they have time to run the option. There's a lot of other teams that run similar plays, the Ducks just run it at light speed.
