Oregon vs Bama

As to the OP. Bama's D (all around) and O-line would have dominated Oregon. Gimmicks don't work against Saban

I think Oregon would've thrashed ND so deductively Oregon vs Bama would've been more entertaining. Probably would've still ended up 35-17

Oregon would beat Bama in a tight gane. Jump on them early and force bama to get away from the power running game. The bama qb is not NFL quality. As A&M showed, if you can put them into a catch up mode, bama isn't unbeatable.

Notre Dame is just a middle of pack sec team

So we piss and moan for computer rankings coupled with the "peoples" choices (i.e. Sportswriters and Coaches) to pit #1 against #2. We get it, and now we are saying meh, we want the Sportswriters and Coaches to decide. ND was there not because they "deserved it" but because the people and the computer decided they were #1. Bama was #2 for the same reason. They played, that's the way it is. I can't wait for the playoffs so that we can have people saying welllllll, maybe they should play a 2 out of 3 series because I am sure that my team would have won if we played them 2 more times. The playoff system is going to suck because a "death panel" will decide the fate of the teams ranked 1 - 4 at the end of the season. A more "deserving #6" will supplant a solid #4 and all hell will break loose because #5 didn't get in too. The playoffs are a can of worms that never should have been opened.

Oregon most likely would not of won against Alabama last night. But it would of been a better game imo. Any top 5 team would have made a better match. ND clearly did not belong.

You don't give Saban a month to prepare. Especially against a lackluster ND team. I don't think Oregon would beat them. Only team right now to challenge them is A&M.
