And all I'm saying is, I didn't go over to the Oregon board to talk crap about the Ducks. Doesn't seem right that you trash the entire Tennessee team on a Tennessee board. Especially based off of one persons comments. Mine.

Ringer had 1 big run that padded his stats. outside of that one 46 yard run, he had 6 carries where he picked up 14 yards, or just 2.3 yards.

The big concern though is Ringer can't do really anything against a 1st or 2nd team defense...

but it's to the point where, when he's in, defenses don't even buy that the titans will or even can run it. The seahawks went straight into pass defense (one where everyone was covered/defended) on that third and 1 and didn't even bite the slightest on the play action when he was in.

Still more than double Blount's average. :p

I really just think Blount sucks. As a person and as a football player. Nobody even wants Lendale White and he is way better than Blount imo. That's not saying much for Blount.

oh yeah i get you. Blount didnt do anything really to impress in the preseason game really (3 tries from the 1)

but Ringer is ineffective enough that someone's going to have to step up and take the backup spot, at the very least for drives when CJ needs to sit out

If Ringer ends up as bad as you think he'd be coming in for CJ, the Titans better find another runningback somewhere else. Getting the most carries last night and being on the team the longest, I'd have to think he is currently the back up to CJ.

It's not something I want to think about but CJ isn't very big and all it takes is one hit. Titans better shore up the backfield and quick. Otherwise Vince Young will be the number one runningback on the team. :blink:

There have been many many many more comments made on this board, come on man....be real. I also didn't intend to disparage your team, sorry if it came across that way. Just meant in terms of the state we are both in no one from Tennessee should be saying anything about anyone else. Overall you guys have a proven program and we only want to join the clique.

Not trying to be a jerk but I think that's key words. I understand not wanting to read other people insulting your team but it's not like these comments are directly intended for opposing fans to hear.

Someone posted a bunch of quotes from the Oregon Duck board bashing Tennessee. I didn't go over there and insult the Ducks. As long as they keep the bashing on their board, I don't care.

Anyways... welcome :hi:. I'd just try to avoid insulting Tennessee too much if you're going to post on Tennessee's board. Have at it on the Ducks board though. :thumbsup:

Understood but you would have to be ignorant if you didn't realize people from all programs visit lots of other opponents boards. Also, those qoutes were obviously cherry picked (he helped fuel the fire by saying this was the general idea thought by most duck fans, when that isn't true) and used to incite Vols fans. Until I made a generalization in this thread earlier I haven't insulted Tenn at all, nor do I intend to.

actually the original handshake agreement between Disney and Oregon was made contractual some time ago, not that it matters much but... after the laptop thing i didn't want Vol fans thinking we stole our mascot too :angel:

Is an Oregon fan actually talking about our team being thuggish after this past offseason? I agree that the poster you responded to made an ignorant comment but you are being a huge hypocrite.

If you think that BSU's defense was tough then you don't want to see how SEC defenses play. Even as depleted as we are, we have as good or better defense than anybody Oregon plays.

BSU played a terrible game full of mistakes and still should have mopped the floor with Oregon last year. You guys do not match up well physically at all with UT and we now have the DC that shut you down with less talent.

Don't forget your place no matter how popular your team currently is because you would be a bottom-dweller in the SEC. Lastly, Blount is an idiot and is highly overrated. He will do nothing for the Titans and will probably be out of the NFL within 2 years.

See above. And Florida's future offensive coordinator is far more relevant to us than anything having to do with Oregon and, in your heart of hearts, you know it.
