Orson Charles and Arron Murray

tampavolz, are they saying anything about kiffin visiting? if so who did he visit?

You gotta live here to know it, but this town is 120% gators, which means I get a lot of one finger solutes around here. In other words, the local media would not even think of printing that CLK is in town.

Also bigger fish to fry here locally as the ACC title game is in town today, SEC Championship game is today, etc. so only Reporting was that Murray's team beat the local bullies Armwood. Since Murrays team won without him and using a sophmore QB, maybe CLK was here to see some other players from both teams. Tampa has some strong Prep football these past few years.

If Boyd at 5'11" or 6'0" was not big enough for the prototypical QB for Kiffin's offense, would Murray at 6'0" or 6'1"? Seems a bigger QB would be sought.

I'd say we have a 2% chance at landing Murray under the current conditions.

He is the Zach Rodgers of the UGA class right now: Calling other recruits and trying to get everyone pumped up for UGA.

I give it a 2% chance because Mettenburger (sp?) is going too and if Kiffin is, for whatever reason, convinced Murray is the man, he may be able to get him to come to UT and compete for a starting job if Stafford stays another year. Even so, this 2% chance is completely my opinion-- Rivals guys in the know will tell you it's less than that.

For what it's worth though, Kiffin was down at their game because it was two huge Florida programs playing w/ a bunch of recruits at the game, Aaron Murray was only one of the many -- so he was likely not even there for Murray. Afterwards he spent time with Giles. These are facts, I've seen pics of Kiffin at the game and an interview w/ Giles about the visit.

I hope Kiffin and company visited Charles on Friday because UGA sent the mother load down to see him on Sunday. I am sure they reassured Murrays comittment while they were there as well. It also said they became the first school to visit Charles, which would indicate UT did not visit Friday.

Per Rivals-12/7/08: "The Dawgs left their home state and headed to the state of Florida to see one of their top remaining targets. Orson Charles received a visit from Mark Richt, Mike Bobo, John Lilly, and Tony Ball on Sunday and they became the first school to visit the talented athlete."

You guys are funny...could you explain the equation used to come up with your 2% analysis?

Whats so funny? My equation tells me that we have a 78.92% chance that someone else will post the percentages on the probability of landing a certain recruit.
